The seminar, co-hosted by the Ministry of Planning and Budget (MPB) of the Republic of Korea, the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), and the Public and Private Infrastructure Investment Management Center (PIMAC) at the Korea Development Institute (KDI), aims to share relevant experiences in public investment management. The main objectives of the workshop are as follows:

  A. Knowledge Transfer: To facilitate the exchange of knowledge and experiences in comprehensive public investment management, covering areas such as planning, monitoring and evaluation, and instruments that address risk prevention and climate change considerations.

  B. Capacity Building: To encourage capacity building for public investment officials from Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC) countries in designing, implementing, and monitoring of their national public investment processes.

  C. Policy Dialogue: To provide a platform for constructive discussions among LAC public investment decision-makers and officials to enhance public investment systems.
