Presentation 2. Strategies of Sustainable Development to Green Inclusive Society
CHU Jang Min Vice President of Korea Environment Institute
□ The damage of natural disasters frequently caused by environmental and resource crises and climate change is different and unequal depending on the class, region, generation, and country.
○ Sustainable development should be pursued through the construction of a green inclusive society throughout society to embrace vulnerable groups, regions, and generations in the environment sector.
□ Construction of a green inclusive society will be possible through the paradigm of national development such as constitution, government, rights and value system, economy and public, and greening of social system.
○ Policies to protect vulnerable groups, regions, and households need to be pursued along with policies to guarantee a minimum line for everyone to enjoy a safe and clean environment.
○ Leading the realization of a green inclusive society on a global scale is necessary by actively participating in the international community's efforts to realize sustainable development goals (SDGs).
